Who runs this site

bhagyesh.com is a personal website run by Bhagyesh Mahajan, an individual based in Pune, Maharashtra, India (“I”, “me”). I decide how the limited personal data described below is used, so I am responsible for it.

The short version

  • There are no accounts, sign-up forms or comments on this site.
  • I do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
  • I do not sell, rent or share personal data for marketing.

What data is processed and why

  • Server logs. My hosting provider, Hostinger, automatically records technical details of each visit: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working, and are kept for Hostinger’s standard log period.
  • Apply-button clicks. When you click Apply on a role, the site adds one to a click counter for that role so I can see which listings are useful. Only the number is stored. It is not linked to you, your IP address or any cookie.
  • Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser sends your IP address to Google. See Google’s privacy policy.
  • Emails you send me. If you write to me, I use your name, email address and message only to reply, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Links to other sites

Apply buttons take you to third-party platforms such as Mercor, micro1, Turing and Ethos. Many of these links are referral links, so the platform may record that you arrived through my link. The site also links to my WhatsApp channel and LinkedIn. Once you leave bhagyesh.com, the other site’s privacy policy applies, not this one.

Legal basis

I process server logs and click counts for legitimate uses: running and securing the site. I process emails you send because you chose to contact me. For visitors in the European Union or United Kingdom, the legal bases are legitimate interests and, for emails, your consent.

Where data is stored

Hostinger and Google may store or process data on servers outside India. They apply their own safeguards to these transfers.

Your rights

You can ask me to tell you what personal data I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Write to info@bhagyesh.com and I will reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with my reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India or, if you are in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is meant for students and professionals aged 18 and over. I do not knowingly collect data from children.
